AVC Drawdown deadline 27th March 2016

There is an opportunity for people to take money out of their pension fund now as opposed to waiting till when you retire.

However the deadline for same is on the 27th March 2016 next.

It is restricted to 30% of your AVC funds out of your pension

It is important to note that this option only applies to those with Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs) made to their occupational pension scheme

Any money withdrawn is taxed at the your marginal rate of tax (i.e. the rate of tax you pay on your last euro of income)
