Single Parent Child Credit

You can claim a tax credit if you are a single parent and are not co-habiting or re-married.

The child must be aged under 18 years and if over 18 years old is

a) at university

b) permanently incapacitated

c) or undergoing full time training ( at least 2 years )

The credit is worth €1,650
