You can claim tax relief of 20% on qualifying non-routine dental expenses
Non-routine dental expenses that qualify are:
Crowns,Tip Replacing, Gold Posts, root canal treatment, orthodontics (incl braces ) Wisdom teeth
Routine dental expenses such as cleaning, filings, extractions are not allowable
Dental expenses reimbursed by health insurance such VHI or Aviva do not qualify for tax relief
