When do you pay capital gains tax ( CGT ) ?
You pay CGT when
a) If you sold an asset and incurred CGT between 1st January to 30th November you pay the CGT on the 15th December of that year
b) If you sold an asset and incurred CGT between 1st December to 31st December you pay the CGT on the 31st January of that year
An CGT return for 2014 is due on the 31st October 2015 and for 2015 is due on the 31st October 2016
