Start your own business relief

The start your own business provides for relief from Income tax ( but not USC and PRSI)  for long term unemployed individuals who start a new business.

The scheme provides an exemption from Income tax up to a maximum of €40,000 per year for individuals who set

up a qualifying business; having being unemployed for a period of at least 12 months.

This relief ends at 31st December 2016
