VAT on new car ?

If you are self employed and registered for VAT, you may be able

to claim vat on the purchase of a new car ( 20% of VAT )

Subject to the following conditions:

a) Have to use the car for 60% of your time for business purposes

b) Has to be used for 2 years or more

c) Has to be a new car with low emissions at either the A to C emissions class

d) Have to keep detailed records of mileage undertaken
